University of Greenwich use Akero Offline – Case Study

University of Greenwich use Akero to track offline events for international student recruitment

Being a much-celebrated institution means the University of Greenwich has more students studying overseas with collaborative partners than any other UK university. So when running international events, they need to be efficient in                                                    their capturing and management of leads.

Previously, the University would rely on paper and excel spreadsheets, which, in the words of April Moore, International Recruitment Officer for the University of Greenwich, was ‘inconvenient, time-consuming and increased the amount of admin work transferring data between various systems.’

Akero was adopted by the University’s Open Day team to create more meaningful relationships with their audience – generating over 12,000 leads and running capture events in 21 countries.

As a result, the team now work smarter, faster and more efficiently when it comes to managing their multiple events and following up with their hottest leads.

Akero was used to:

  • Track every attendee registration across all digital and social channels,
  • Nurture event attendees through marketing automation,
  • Capture attendee information offline and sync with other marketing platforms,
  • Profile and score leads.

“I would recommend using Akero for international events – it’s easy to use and saves a lot of time with multiple Excel spreadsheets. It also easily allows other people in your office to manage the leads instantly if you’re unable to do this yourself.”
