The award recognises new and innovative approaches to marketing in Further Education, with the ceremony coined as the Oscars of FE Marketing. It’s a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the achievements of in-house college marketing departments and we’re over the moon for Solihull to have gained this recognition.
Solihull were commended for their ground-breaking approach to their summer open day campaign using Akero Advertising. As early adopters of this technology, they used artificial intelligence to select their advertising channels and distribute their campaign budget. And with Akero’s performance guarantees, Solihull hit and exceeded all their recruitment and marketing goals. A really exciting and impactful project for all that were involved.
The success of the campaign was measured through clicks on the open day landing page, which were double the target KPI, and pre-registrations for the open day, which also achieved the target within budget.
